Buffalo Creek Farm and Creamery, LLC is a working farmstead goat dairy owned and operated by the Blakley’s.

We are happy to welcome small groups to the farm to talk “goats and cheese.”  Our informational sessions last approximately forty-five minutes and end with a cheese tasting.  The focus of our educational tour is teaching others where food comes from, showing locals a way to keep business in the community; and, for adults, providing an outing.  During this time, we will discuss life on a dairy goat farm and cheesemaking.  Depending on the interests of the group, we may also talk about other farm activities including raising beef cows, lambs, and chickens as time permits.  The behind-the-gate and in-the-barn look are done via video tours.  After the tour, you are welcome to eat a snack or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy while watching the farm animals from our picnic shelter (cold drinks are available for purchase in the Farm Store for your convenience).  While you are at the farm, please plan to also visit our Farm Store where we sell farmstead meats, goat’s milk cheeses, goat’s milk soap, local food products and gift items.

We welcome individuals, families, garden clubs, church groups, out of town visitors, Scouts, 4-H groups and home schoolers to our educational tours.

***As stated above and due to bio-security, a virtual creamery tour will be via a video presentation in the Farm Store without an actual physical tour of the creamery where the goats are milked, the milk is processed and the cheese is made.***

Groups of one (1) to eight (8) will be charged $50 per session.

Sessions may be reserved for either Sunday afternoons at 1PM or Monday mornings at 11AM.  Since this is a working farm, tours will begin promptly at the scheduled time.

Reservations must be made at least two weeks prior to tour date.  Full payment is expected within 3 days of the reservation.  You may pay via the PayPal button below or during the daily business hours at the Farm Store.  Please also include the completed Tour Form with your payment by either emailing if paying by PayPal or providing a printed copy if paying in the Farm Store.  For reservations and to check for availability of dates, contact robin@BuffaloCreekFarmNC.com.  Tours are not canceled due to hot, cold or rainy weather and monies are non-refundable.  All tours are subject to cancellation by us (fees will be refunded).

All participants need to be aware of the following WARNING which is posted in various locations on the farm and be familiar and in agreement with it before making reservations:
