What does this mean? When products are purchased at locally owned businesses rather than nationally owned, more money is kept in the community. This is because locally-owned businesses often purchase from other local businesses or service providers. When our Farm Store and dairy were constructed in 2011, our contractor was from Germanton, our waste water systems were put in by a King contractor, architectural plans were drawn by a Winston-Salem architect along with many more local companies. We also purchase local products for resale in our Farm Store from individuals and farmers in the Mountains, Piedmont and Coastal Regions of NC including Germanton, Walnut Cove, Madison, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, King, Hamptonville, Ruffin, Dallas, Gibsonville, Lexington, Elkin and Whitsett just to name a few. These items are sold alongside our farm’s fresh meats, goat cheese, Goat-La-To and goat milk soap.

Our mission is to bring our farm’s fresh meats, goat’s milk cheese and Goat-La-To, along with other local food, to the tables of families and restaurants throughout the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. Not only do we provide delicious, healthful and flavorful food to consumers, you provide us an opportunity for economic advancement in our rural community of Germanton, NC by supporting Piedmont agriculture.
